Aluminum Alloy Ingot

Aluminum ingots comply with China's national standard (GB/T 1196-2017) and should be called "remelting aluminum ingots". After aluminum ingots enter industrial applications, there are two major categories, namely cast aluminum alloys and deformed aluminum alloys. Cast aluminum and aluminum alloys are aluminum castings produced by casting methods; deformed aluminum and aluminum alloys are aluminum processed products produced by pressure processing methods: plates, strips, foils, tubes, bars, profiles, wires and forgings. The mainstream aluminum ingot grade on the market is Al99.70, commonly known as "A00" aluminum, which is actually aluminum with a purity of 99.70%, which LME calls "standard aluminum".

Aluminum ingots for remelting are the main raw material for the production of aluminum products. They are a green and environmentally friendly metal material that is lightweight, corrosion-resistant, easy to conduct heat and electricity, ductile, and recyclable. They are widely used in many industries such as construction, electricity, packaging, transportation, and daily consumer goods.

Aluminum ingot production is mainly concentrated in China, India, Russia, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Bahrain, Norway, the United States, Iceland and other countries. From the perspective of the global distribution of electrolytic aluminum production regions, China's electrolytic aluminum production accounts for about 57.18% of the world's share; secondly, the Gulf countries account for about 8.93%. In addition, Central and Eastern Europe and Asian countries excluding China also account for a certain share. Overall, China's electrolytic aluminum production accounts for more than half of the world's electrolytic aluminum production. Among them, my country's electrolytic aluminum enterprises play an important role.
