Thin copper tubes usually refer to copper tubes with smaller diameters or sizes.
Copper tubes are widely used in various occasions that require electrical conduction
or heat dissipation due to their good electrical and thermal conductivity.
In air-conditioning systems, thin copper tubes usually refer to low-pressure tubes,
which together with thicker copper tubes (high-pressure tubes) constitute the refrigerant
circulation system of the air conditioner. Liquid refrigerant (Freon) circulates in thin copper
tubes, while gaseous refrigerant circulates in thicker copper tubes. The effective connection
of these two pipes enables the indoor and outdoor units to circulate, realizing the cooling or
heating function of the air conditioner1. In addition, thin copper tubes are also used for the
installation of tap water pipes, heating, and cooling pipes, becoming the preferred material
for the installation of modern residential commercial housing.
